    200SX S14 PROBLEM SA VVT-om

    tacnije VTC, jer se tako varijator bregaste zove u Nissanu

    imam problem koji je redovan kod svih SR20DET blacktop motora
    zove se VVT rattle, tacnije jako iritirajuce drchanje varijatora usisne bregaste, koji na ler gasu (tacnije niskom pritisku ulja) drci kao da imam raspali dizel pod haubom

    identican problem i identican zvuk


    u principu, to ne smeta nista, jer cim dobije pritisak ulja, zvuk nestaje i varijator sasvim normalno obavlja posao, ali dzaba kad mi dodje da zubima iscupam motor kad pocne da drci, a obicno se auto vozi na niskim obrtajima po gradu

    najbolje resenje je zamena, ali je varijator jaako skupa dzidza (nekoliko stotina evropskih dinara), pa cak ni to ne garantuje da nece prozvrcati posle par desetina hiljada km, tako da sam trenutno primoran da posegnem za nalazenjem polovnog ili reparacijom ovog i to je razlog zasto pisem temu

    zanima me da li je iko imao iskustva, kontakta ili bilo kakvih saznanja na ovu temu

    dakle, reparacija varijatora bregaste na 200sx, mada se varijatori danas ugradjuje na vecinu motora (alfa, bmw, honda, toyota, suzuki......), tako da se nadam da se time povecava broj majstora koji su imali kontakta sa ovim problemom


    konkretno, dzidza na SR20DET motorima izgleda ovako

      Right i removed the front and the whole thing exploded :wack: after running round the workshop picking bits up i placed it out on the table.



      So you have the sprocket, outer spline, spring and inner spline

      They go together like this



      and sits inside the sprocket body. This is the position it rests in because the spring pushes the outer spline forwards.



      Then the oil pressure fills the chamber between the outer spline front face and the sprocket front cover by means of a hole in the inner spline. This pressure works against the spring and pushes the outer spline back. As it moves it rotates the inner spline clockwise. But as the inner spline is bolted to the came the end effect is the sprocker bode rotates anti clockwise



      From what i could work out the noise mine was making was down to wear in the pins that hold the 2 pieces of the outer spline together. If you look below you can see the extremes of the play in the 2 pieces (around 1mm)
