cao!

evo i teksta:

evo i teksta:
ok i see that the original bearing is a problem for you guys, here some info:
original bearing ( hydraulic tensioner ) is a very strong double row ball bearing compared to the small single row ball bearing in the mechanical tensioner- this is actually a step back ( alfa wants to sell spare parts !!!)
i had never a (hydraulic)bearing failure, but some of the older ones are running rough and replacement is a good idea
they measure: D 58.5mm x d 35 mm 30mm wide outer side, 25 mm wide inner side
this is from the outside measurements a very special bearing made for alfa only
as im not rich and not crazy either to spend 90 $ for a simple bearing and most of you guys too, do following:
buy 2 single row bearings 6.907 2 RS, they measure 55 x 35 x 10, they cost 4 ( !!!!!!) $ each
let your machinist do a steel sleeve with 59mm outer dia and a inner dia for press fit to the bearings and 2 spacers for the shaft ( cost maximal 20 $ ) that makes total less then 30 $ and the best thing is that next time you replace the bearings you reuse the sleeve and spacers, so you get away for 8 $ !!!
this homemade bearing is as strong as the original one and who doesnt believe has to dismantle the original one and the 6907, if somebody wants a better than new than use NSK 6907 VV bearing they are more expensive ( around 15 $ each ) but top of the range free spinning bearings
for the tensioner himself the cheapest solution is to make a mechanical ( disconnect the oil) out of a hydraulic one or buy the zat-tensioner
