    Suspension & drivetrain

Autodelta offer a complete range of handling solutions for the Alfa Romeo GTV. Progressive lowering springs, which lower the car by 25 mm, improves handling without sacrifice in ride quality. Adjustable shock absorbers, with a fully adjustable rebound rate, improve handling and body control.

Cross-drilled discs with 6-pot lightweight Brembo calipers significantly improve braking capability, whilst a high performance package for the 3.0 and 3.2 V6 models is also available. Made exclusively for Autodelta, the high performace brake kit includes AP Racing 6 piston light calipers with 355 mm cross drilled discs attached to ultra light alloy centres. The high performance kit fits cars with 18-inch wheels only.

To make the most of the enlarged power band, Autodelta offer a different ratio 10% longer fifth gear.

    Exterior styling

Conservative exterior cosmetic options for the Autodelta GTV J10 are produced by Autodelta's Creativestudio. Details include a unique rear spoiler, side skirts and revised front splitter.

      Brake disks

Front disks have been replaced by Brembo serie Oro disks, drilled and ventilated. Back disks have been changed with drilled disks (not ventilated). Disk pads are Carbon Industrie semi-racing. Brake Fuel Agip Dot 5.0. Aluminium cables. Wanted (but not possible): larger back brake disks (standard 240mm). Not really necessary as 80% of braking is in front.
Opinion: Braking grip (especially the initial braking) has substanitally improved. The pads are the biggestfactor.
      Brake test results:
      Front (strength) 3250 N (right)/ 3220 N (left)
      Back (strength) 980 N (right) / 950 N (left)
      :: Standard braking is between 2800 & 2900 N (front)

      Twin Ragazzon Exhaust

Better 90-120 KM/h re-acceleration and better free flow of gasses. Improved sound (though standard is already quite nice). I've achieved an extra +8 BHP though this was not the main reason for the change.
Opinion: Definitely a must do! Especially since the standard Phase II exhaust is a small oval single pipe.
At least the phase I had a larger squared exit.

      White Dials

The dial faces were replaced for both practical and style reasons. Because my my car is modified, the speed will easily go beyond the 260km original limit (the few times I dared such speeds). The top speed is now 300 km/h and these new dials will indicate the the top speed of the car. The part was easily found and cheap (50 euros) and came within 2 days in the form of a plastic sheet of paper to be cut. The only problem was the installation - one of the dial springs went nuts and I had to buy a replacement dial unit. Unfortunately, Alfa only sells the complete dial at a price of 750 euros!!. Calibration was quite easy but its not perfect. When showing 140 km/h, the real speed is actuallu just abourve above 130km/h. However, even normal tacho's have a bilt in error margin.
Opinion: Looks good and now the dial will match my top speed!

      PIAA Extreme White Headlights

I?ve tried many lamps to get a ?Xenon look? on my car (as Xenon is N/A on GTV). Tried the Phillips Cool Blues, Wella's and some other ?blue glass? bulbs. All look really fake. But not the PIAA brand.
Opinion: The PIAA are more expensive and more fragile (always remember to switch off/on before the engine
to avoid electrical jumps), but the result is fantastic. PIAA lights emit a different color but are also
      more powerful (110W from a 60W bulb)

      Cubic engine size increase

Height of pistons has been increased and the head changed with Titanium ones, bringing the total cubic size from 1996 cm? to 2985 cm?.There are two ways of getting a 3.0 V6 TB. Buy a 3.0 and install a Compressor (like Nils) or buy a V6 Turbo and increase the cubic size of cylinders.
One difference though! my engine ia 12V not 24V. It is actually not the same as the one installed in the Phase I Spider V6 (192BHP), which was a close brother of the 2.0 V6 TB.

      17" Alloy Wheels

Started with Alessio wheels, recently changed to standard ?Selespeed? look 17? wheels.
Opinion: Standard wheels are already quite nice. 17" alloys are really a cherry on the cake.

Cup Side Air Intake + White indicators

Gives it that ?extra punch to the overall look?. The rest of the Cup package are open to taste & discussion IMO.
      Opinion: Definitely a must do!

        Replacement ECU Chip

Two chips changed: central ignition and Turbo programme management. Power at wheels (engine +10-20%): 242BHP/178 KW, 325 NM torque. Fuel consumption ?15% from standard in similar driving style.

Opinion: The CPU (actually 2 cpu's) is fantastic. They came from squadra tuning and have made my car much more responsive. Acceleration of course has been greatly increased but re-acceleration is even better with massive torque (335 NMs). Only tip is to let engine run at idle before shutting down to let hot gasses out of the pipes (turbo especially)

        Longer 5th Gear

Definitely another must do! Higher top speed, much lower consumption (for constant highway speed driving). Cost of the gear part is low but installation is the bulk of the cost as the car stays at the dealer for 2 days.
Opinion: It's simply great. It has greatly reduced my consumption and top speed is 5-10 kmh quicker.

        Pirelli P-Zero Tyres

My GTV was delivered with Pirelli P7000's. Very good tyres, but with slight traction problems on wet. Changed front (after dealers advice) to Continental Sport Contact 2. The Continentasl are terrible!!!! Ridiculous traction in wet and very noisy. The only good thing about them is that they are long lasting (maybe because they are very hard, hence their performance issues). Changed them after 4000 km.
Currently installed: Pirelli Pzero System (directional front / assymetric back). The absolute best I must say. A bit more expensive than competition, very soft tyres (don?t expect to get more than 20000 Km out of them).
Opinion: Highly recommended. Definitely my preferred choice and will replace them with same when needed. Down side? Well, like all ultra performance tyres (especially soft ones), they suffer at low temperatures. Solution for me is to use my Pirelli Winter Snow Sports. Excellent traction on wet & snow. Maybe a bit noisy at high speed driving. They require 100-200 km to adapt after coming from Summer sport tyres. Also their reaction times are slower and less precise (for example in sharp turns)
