Bigger engine, faster car, more accidents, right? That intuitive logic isn't the case, according to a survey of more than 12 million passenger cars insured by Progressive, the nation's third-largest auto insurer. Cars with more than 200 horsepower are actually involved in 17 percent fewer auto claims than those with less than 200 hp, the study shows.
