Vehicle type: Škoda Octavia 1.8/110 and 132 kW, Škoda Superb 1.8/110 kW
As you are aware there is a possibility that one or several rod type ignition coils could
fail on 1.8T engines.
Chassis/Engine No. range:
Octavia TMB - - - 1U - 2 2569235 to TMB - - - 1U - 3 2697269
TMB - - - 1U - 2 8545743 to TMB - - - 1U - 3 8675149

AUM, ARX AUQ and AWT engines.
Remedy-
In the event of complaints, please check whether the rod type ignition coil fitted to the
vehicle corresponds with the very latest parts being fitted in production (Part No: 06B
905 115 J or L). If ignition coils with part No 06B 905 115 D/G/H are fitted they must
be replaced with the newer version. The identifying part number can be found at the
connector housing.
Additionally, we recommend you check ALL vehicles in used vehicle stock, and any
customer vehicle in for routine maintenance and repairs for the latest ignition coils,
any coils with index D/G/H should be replaced with the newer version
Rod type ignition coils with index J or L are not defective and must not be
replaced.

Da ne duzim, od 2000 godine, VW je imao problem sa snabdevacem bobina, odnosno za tadasnje modele Beru i Hitachi, a kasnije i sa VW bobinama br. 06B 905 115D/G/H - svi ovi modeli su znali da crknu i da prave probleme, odnosno ne pale smesu kako treba ostavljajuci visak nespaljenog goriva. Takodje, ilo je i slucajeva da drajver za bobinu br. 2 omane (gle slucajnosti...).
Eto ti zasto. Dakle, ako si stavio Beruove, Hitachijeve, ili neku iz D/H/L serija bobina, menjaj. 30 EUR ti je komad, nove, jeftinije nego OPET nov motor. Nova serija bobina izgleda kao na slici, crna ili crvena:
